Refund and Cancellation Policy

When we refund a payment, how to ask for one, and how to cancel.

Last updated September 9, 2026

The short version

Try a paid plan for 14 days. If it did not help, email us within those 14 days and we will refund it in full — no explanation needed. You can cancel any time, and cancelling always stops the next charge.

Cancelling

Open Billing in your account and cancel there. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep the paid plan until then, and it does not renew afterwards. Your account stays open on the free plan — nothing is deleted because you cancelled.

There is a free plan, so you can try AppReady on your own site before paying anything.

14-day refund on a first payment

If you are unhappy with a paid plan, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason. This applies once per account.

Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically. We do not normally refund a renewal, because cancelling before the renewal date always prevents it. That said, if a renewal caught you out — you had not used the service in that period and you tell us within 14 days of the charge — ask us anyway. We would rather refund it than keep money from someone who did not want to spend it.

When we always refund

  • You were charged twice for the same period.
  • You were charged after cancelling.
  • The service was unavailable, or a paid feature was broken, for a significant part of a period you paid for.
  • We withdrew a paid feature you were relying on — the unused part of the period.

When we may decline

  • The request is well outside the windows above and none of the reasons above apply.
  • The account was suspended for breaching the terms of service — for example, scanning sites belonging to other people without permission.
  • The plan’s quotas were consumed and the request is being used to reverse that.

If we decline, we will tell you why in plain language, and you can reply and disagree — a human reads it.

Statutory rights

Consumers in the UK and the EU have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Because AppReady is a digital service that starts immediately, that right can end once you begin using it — but our own 14-day policy above gives you the same window regardless, so you are not worse off. Nothing in this policy removes a right you have by law.

How to ask

Email support@appready.tech from the address on the account, and include the receipt number if you have it. We reply within two working days.

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, normally arriving within 5–10 working days depending on your bank. Paddle’s receipt email also carries a link you can use to reach them directly about a transaction.
